Create a REST API with SFDX, Part 1

In the next couple of posts we will create a REST API with Salesforce DX. First we’ll create a custom object and then expose that object through a REST API. When it’s complete we will have an API for a custom object that is similar to the built in Salesforce REST API for sObjects. Platform Developer I Certification

In June I earned the Platform Developer I Certification. The exam was tough and had some tricky questions but I didn’t think any of them were trick questions, if that makes sense. None of the questions seemed written to be intentionally confusing or misleading. I used three resources to prepare for the exam: Trailhead Pluralsight Focusonforce.com Trailhead I worked through most of the Prepare for your Salesforce Platform Developer I Credential trail mix.

How to prepare for a video interview

I recently had my first video interview. These are my recommendations for making sure you’re ready for a video interview. Test your equipment Test your camera and microphone to make sure you won’t have any issues when you connect to the call. I’ve had many work calls where someone has trouble connecting their audio while everyone else on the call waits for them. I didn’t want to make that first impression on my interviewers.
